About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to join our team and play a key role in the transformation of our business portfolio.

Job Summary

The Technical Business Analyst will be responsible for analysing and translating business requirements into detailed technical specifications that guide the solution development process.

Main Responsibilities

  • Requirements Elicitation: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs, goals, and objectives, eliciting and documenting detailed business requirements.
  • Analysis and Documentation: Analyse and document business processes, systems, and workflows, creating process models, data models, and other relevant documentation to illustrate future states.
  • Technical Solution Design: Work with the project team to translate business requirements into technical specifications, collaborating with architects and developers to design technical solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Data Analysis: Conduct data analysis to understand data structures, sources, and dependencies, defining data requirements and supporting data modelling efforts.
  • Prototyping and Mockups: Develop prototypes or mockups to demonstrate proposed system features or changes, gathering feedback from stakeholders to refine and improve solution designs.
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Support: Collaborate with business users to define UAT criteria and test cases, assisting in UAT execution to ensure the final solution meets business requirements.
  • Risk Analysis: Identify and assess potential risks associated with technical solutions, working with the project team to develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring documentation is accessible to relevant stakeholders.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Facilitate communication between business and technical teams, collaborating with developers, architects, and other project stakeholders to ensure a shared understanding of requirements.

  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to facilitate effective communication between business stakeholders and the technical team.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyse complex business problems and propose effective solutions.
