A 5-star Hotel located in Mascot near the Sydney domestic airport.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Sales professional to join our Sales team, based at our Sydney Airport Hotel.

This is an exciting opportunity for a positive sales focused individual wanting to develop their career and take on a new challenge within the Hotel and Events industry. The primary purpose of this role is to:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities from Corporate, C&E, MICE and leisure market segments.
  • Maintain relationships with existing clients and stakeholders through efficient account management.
  • Assist the Director of Sales & Marketing with research, analysis of results, compilation of monthly reports.
  • Support the team with customer service and telemarketing new and existing clients when required.
  • Assist with local area marketing promotions and sales activity at expos, conferences and conventions as required.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date data in the CRM database.

As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and assisting the Director of Sales & Marketing with research and analysis.

Requirements:

  • A well-presented, self-motivated Sales professional with strong people and negotiation skills.
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment, under pressure and able to meet deadlines and achieve our business objectives.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Tertiary qualification in Business or Sales Management is desirable.
  • Proficient with MS Office products, social media and general computer skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise work and manage a variety of projects.
  • Experience with Sales software systems such as Sales Force Delphi, Opera.
  • Previous experience working within Sales & Marketing, Events or a Hotel environment is desirable.
  • Possion for Hotels and Hospitality.

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
