About the Role

As a Senior Sales Director with our client, you will be responsible for leading a dynamic sales team in the automotive industry. This is a pivotal position where you will guide strategic direction, drive business growth, and optimise operational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Craft and execute nationwide sales plans to drive business growth and expand market reach.
  • Lead, inspire, and manage Regional Sales Managers to ensure targets are met and operational standards are upheld.
  • Monitor performance metrics and seek process improvements for greater efficiency.
  • Cultivate key partnerships and drive business growth through strong relationship management.
  • Evaluate market trends and provide insights that inform strategic decisions.
  • Oversee major sales initiatives, including industry events and campaigns, ensuring budgetary goals are met.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in senior sales leadership or similar roles within the industry.
  • Proven success in achieving sales objectives and managing large teams.
  • Strong commercial insight and expertise in developing national sales plans.
  • Excellent leadership capabilities, particularly in guiding teams through change and enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Solid P&L responsibilities and financial management skills.
  • Ability to influence and engage internal and external stakeholders.
  • Must have experience working in a corporate environment.
  • Willingness to travel regularly.

Estimated Salary: AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum
