Job Description

The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of delivering sales growth, with the ability to manage and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve targets within an assigned territory. The role requires extensive travel throughout Victoria's suburbs and surrounding areas, including regular regional trips.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver against sales Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Train face-to-face retail staff on market-leading brands
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive sales growth and expand customer base within the assigned territory
  • Conduct face-to-face store visits with retailers to understand their needs, present product offerings, negotiate sales agreements, and deliver in-store results
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for business growth
  • Identify and prospect new customers, build strong relationships, and convert leads into sales opportunities

Travel Requirements:

The role requires extensive travel within Victoria's suburbs and surrounding areas, including regular regional trips. At least two regional trips per quarter are expected, with estimated travel frequency at approximately 90% of the time.


Requirements:
  • A completed University degree
  • Minimum two years' experience in territory sales or field sales, preferably in FMCG
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a similar role
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting
  • Outgoing, approachable, and passionate about sales
  • Strong Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and PowerBi skills
  • Valid full driver's license
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory
