About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Executive to join our team at Semrush. As an SMB Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of small and medium-sized business clients, identifying new sales opportunities, and driving revenue growth.


Key Responsibilities
  • Client Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions to optimize their online visibility.
  • Sales Strategy: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, leveraging your expertise in sales methodologies and negotiation techniques to close deals.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Customer Success and Marketing teams to develop and execute account plans, ensuring seamless delivery of Semrush solutions to clients.
  • Performance Metrics: Meet or exceed sales targets, tracking key performance indicators such as sales revenue, customer acquisition, and retention rates.

Requirements
  • Experience: 3+ years of sales experience in the SaaS industry, preferably in an SMB or Junior MM role, with a proven track record of consistently closing deals.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence decision-makers. Proficient in various sales methodologies and negotiation techniques.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business or Sales, or equivalent experience.
