About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Executive to join our team at Semrush. As an Account Executive - SMB, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of small business clients, identifying new sales opportunities, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a book of business with 300+ small business clients, building and maintaining strong relationships through regular communication and sales calls.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow revenue and expand existing customer relationships.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Customer Success and Marketing, to develop and execute account plans.
  • Utilize sales methodologies, such as Sandler, Challenger, SPIN, MEDDIC, and others, to drive sales performance and achieve revenue targets.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of sales experience in the SaaS industry, preferably in an SMB or Junior MM role, with a successful track record of consistently closing $50k ARR deals.
  • Proven ability to exceed sales targets and drive revenue growth.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence decision-makers.
  • Proficient in various sales methodologies and tools.
  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to present to senior management and decision-makers.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Sales.
  • SaaS or MarTech experience.
