About the Role:This role will see you lead a unified team of 6 who work both the shop floor and online appointments, developing a high-performing retail team that delivers exceptional customer experiences. You will be responsible for creating development plans, conducting regular meetings, and evaluating the quality of experience each customer receives. As a hands-on leader, you will also work the floor to set a great example for your team.
Your key objectives will include:
- Leadership: Build, enhance, and retain a high-performing retail team by creating development plans, conducting regular team and 1:1 meetings, and ensuring the team is continually learning.
- Hands-On Approach: Work closely with the team on the shop floor, leading by example and regularly evaluating the quality of experience each customer receives.
- Performance Management: Identify gaps in performance and implement positive changes to drive business growth.
- Collaboration: Work with the online team to ensure extremely high service levels and experiences are translated through to online customers.
You will be a proactive, hands-on operator who understands that the best results are yielded when you lead from the front. With a strong understanding of how technology can be utilised to strengthen a customer experience, you will seek out innovative solutions to bolster team performance and retail offerings.
About You:To succeed in this role, you will have:
- A proven track record of creating untouchable customer experiences, with at least 5+ years of management experience within a retail/customer-facing environment.
- A strong leadership style that inspires and motivates teams to achieve their full potential.
- The ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
- A willingness to embrace change and continuously develop new skills to stay ahead of the curve.
