Claims Management Strategist

The Senior Claims Specialist will lead a caseload and drive multifaceted cases to achieve optimal recovery and return-to-work outcomes. This role requires advanced claims, injury, and return-to-work management skills, as well as exceptional stakeholder engagement.
You will apply your expertise to deliver strategic and operational support to case managers, facilitating successful outcomes for injured workers, employers, and DXC.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement innovative case management strategies
- Manage complex claims scenarios and provide guidance to teams
- Deliver face-to-face claims management support to stakeholders
- Lead cohort-based claims strategies at team, practice group, and DXC levels
We are looking for individuals with:
- Resilience and perseverance in managing challenging cases
- Advanced organisational and planning skills to prioritise tasks effectively
- Well-developed problem-solving and decision-making skills to drive successful outcomes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to engage stakeholders
- Negotiation and influencing skills to build strong relationships
This role requires:
- Significant experience in claims management in the Victorian workers' compensation scheme
- Knowledge of medical and paramedical terminology and procedures
- Strong working knowledge of the Workplace Injury and Rehabilitation Act 2015 and associated regulations
