Senior Claims Specialist Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Claims Specialist to join our team at 1602 DXC INT SVCS VIC PTY LTD.
About the Role
The Senior Claims Specialist will be responsible for managing a caseload and associated interventions to achieve optimal outcomes for injured workers, employers, and DXC. This will involve applying advanced claims, injury, and return-to-work management skills, as well as exceptional stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of complex claims and develop strategies to achieve successful return-to-work outcomes.
- Provide guidance and support to claims teams on complex claims scenarios and strategies to deliver appropriate interventions.
- Deliver face-to-face claims management support to injured workers, employers, and stakeholders as required.
- Lead and deliver cohort-based claims strategies at Team, Practice Group, and DXC levels.
- Take on lead claims management responsibility for platinum and complex customers.
- Lead portfolio responsibilities to support delivery of specific contractual obligations.

Required Expertise
- Significant claims management experience in the Victorian workers' compensation scheme.
- Knowledge of medical and paramedical terminology and procedures, including forms of treatment applicable to injuries.
- Strong working knowledge of the Workplace Injury and Rehabilitation Act 2015 and associated regulations.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of ACCtion and Novus.
Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum
