Our organization, 1602 DXC INT SVCS VIC PTY LTD, is seeking a highly skilled Claims Management Expert to join our team. This role plays a critical part in the delivery of a vital service that significantly impacts the lives of injured workers.
About the RoleThe Senior Claims Specialist will be responsible for managing a case load and implementing interventions to ensure optimal recovery and return-to-work outcomes for injured workers. This requires advanced claims, injury, and return-to-work management skills, as well as exceptional stakeholder management abilities.
You will apply your knowledge and experience to achieve the best possible results for injured workers, employers, and DXC. This involves applying a strategic, proactive, and innovative approach to case management, preparing for, attending, and actively participating in claims reviews and clinical case conferences.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate aspects of an injured worker's recovery and liability relevant to the Victorian workers' compensation scheme while completing ongoing reviews in relation to entitlements and payments.
- Provide guidance and support to claims teams with interpretation of complex claims scenarios and strategies to deliver appropriate, multi-layered, and timely interventions.
- Deliver face-to-face claims management support to injured workers, employers, and relevant stakeholders as required to deliver successful return-to-work outcomes.
- Lead and deliver cohort-based claims strategies at Team, Practice Group, and DXC levels.
The ideal candidate will have significant claims management experience in the Victorian workers' compensation scheme, knowledge of medical and paramedical terminology and procedures, and strong working knowledge of the Workplace Injury and Rehabilitation Act 2015 & associated regulations.
