Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead our SaaS Applications Enterprise Field Sales South team in Melbourne.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned sales professional to manage and develop a team of sales representatives, focusing on Business Applications (SaaS ERP / CRM) solutions. As a key member of our sales leadership team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strategic plans, and building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop a team of sales representatives, including recruiting, hiring, and training new reps on the Oracle sales process.
  • Sell and promote the sales of Oracle products to customers, negotiating price, other concessions, and terms and conditions of the sale.
  • Participate in strategic and tactical planning for the division, collaborating with license, consulting, and education field managers to develop joint account plans.
  • Develop and execute a territory plan to maximize revenue, generating and achieving monthly territory forecasts, and accurately predicting revenue on a basis.
  • Conduct weekly progress meetings with the sales team and manage escalation.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven tenure and stability leading a team of business cloud software sales representatives in a sophisticated solution environment.
  • A background in Applications, as opposed to Technology or Hardware.
  • First-line management experience managing a team of ERP or HCM and SaaS Business Applications Sales Reps.
  • Financial management skills, with a proven ability to manage sales pipeline and deliver accurate forecasts.
  • Sales acumen, with a track record of delivering consistent sales success, $5-10m per year.
  • Industry knowledge, with significant business software experience either vendor sales or consulting sales.
  • A strong network of relevant strategic business and IT relationships and references.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a highly competitive suite of employee benefits designed on the principles of parity and consistency, including medical, life insurance, and retirement options.
