Job Summary

TP Human Capital is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks, including data management, event coordination, grant research, and business operations support.

The primary purpose of this role is to provide comprehensive administrative support for fundraising activities, events management, and general operations. This includes managing schedules, coordinating communications, and assisting with the organization of various events and fundraising initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Administrative Support
  • Field initial inquiries via phone and email, providing information or redirecting queries as appropriate.
  • Input and manage data across spreadsheets, databases, and business systems.
  • Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of database systems.
  • Prepare and format content for business communications.
  • Assist with event planning, coordination, and execution.
  • Conduct grant research and assist in preparing grant applications.
  • Maintain the primary calendar of events.
Challenges
  • Multitasking: Balancing multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously to meet deadlines.
  • Stakeholder Management: Interacting effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Adaptability: Adapting to the varying needs of the business.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within the nonprofit or events sector.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with business software and database management.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Familiarity with business operations and basic graphic design tools is a plus.
