About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Sales & Business Development Representative to help drive business growth and expand our market presence. As an SBDR, you will be responsible for engaging new customers and driving sales success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and qualify potential clients to build a high-quality lead database.
  • Proactively identify, engage, and qualify new business opportunities, primarily in Financial Services, Legal, and Regulatory sectors.
  • Reach out to C-Level executives via phone and in person across various industries to present Ethika's services.
  • Understand customer business challenges and demonstrate how Ethika's services can address those needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand and tailor Ethika's service offerings for prospective clients.
  • Build and nurture relationships with potential B2B clients, laying the foundation for long-term partnerships.
  • Leverage in-person and phone-based selling experience to establish strong connections with key decision-makers.
  • Consistently meet or exceed performance goals and KPIs, contributing to company growth.
  • Handle rejection professionally, turning objections into opportunities.
  • Work closely with Account Executives and Senior Sales Managers to transition leads into qualified sales opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities within the CRM, ensuring up-to-date pipeline management.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in sales development, lead generation, business development, or similar roles.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a focus on relationship building.
  • Experience using CRM tools to manage sales pipelines.
  • Ability to sell to sophisticated clients and navigate complex sales environments.
  • A history of long-term commitment to roles.
  • Genuine interest in legal, governance, risk, and compliance and a passion for learning about market trends.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage a diverse client base.
  • Right to work in Australia.
  • Experience in Financial Services or Legal sectors preferred but not required.
  • Self-starter with a growth mindset, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
