About The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to lead our residential construction projects from planning to completion.

The successful candidate will have a well-rounded experience in residential construction and carpentry, as well as excellent project management skills. They will be responsible for utilising Wunderbuild software for effective project and staff management, solving construction challenges using a diverse range of materials and techniques, and supervising a small team or apprentices on-site.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $110,000 per annum, plus superannuation. In addition to the competitive salary, we offer a profit share program after a 6-month probation period, flexible hours (typically 7 am – 4 pm), and varied exposure to carpentry and builder-related tasks in residential construction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects from planning to completion, ensuring timely delivery and within budget.
  • Solve complex construction challenges using a range of materials and techniques.
  • Supervise a small team or apprentices on-site, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Utilise Wunderbuild software for effective project and staff management.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in residential construction and carpentry.
  • Excellent project management skills, including planning, organisation, and time management.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Competence in tender preparation, contract handling, and warranty management.
  • Strong understanding of building techniques and project management principles.
