We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Project Coordinator to join our team in Sydney CBD. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Senior Project Manager in managing the principal contractor and lead consultant teams.

The role involves:

  • Day-to-day project coordination
  • Ensuring strategic objectives are met
  • Monitoring deliverables from consultants and contractors, identifying gaps, and implementing corrective actions
  • Compliance monitoring with contractual obligations

Key responsibilities include:

The Senior Construction Project Coordinator must possess expertise in the following areas:

  • Reporting and Communication
  • Change and Scope Management
  • Design Management and Control
  • Procurement and Contract Administration
  • Commissioning and Facilities Management
  • Quality Control
  • Environmental Management, Monitoring, and Compliance
  • Cost and Risk Management

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Relevant tertiary or postgraduate qualifications in Construction, Engineering, or related fields
  • 5+ years of experience in project planning and delivery
  • Proven experience in delivering construction projects over $20 million
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in achieving outcomes
  • Ability to apply governance guidelines and processes
  • Current driver's license

Benefits:

This contract is available for an initial 12-month term with possible extensions. The successful candidate will enjoy a competitive salary range of AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
