About Our Client: A leading contractor specializing in fitout and refurbishment of commercial, hospitality, and medical projects.

Our client has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality work on every project.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to join their team.

In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered successfully from pre-design through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee construction projects in accordance with standards and client requirements.
  • Manage communication with clients, site teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Effectively handle project budgets, cash flow, and profitability.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Lead risk management efforts and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental systems.
  • Assemble and lead project teams to optimize performance and achieve project goals.
  • Oversee project procurement, subcontractor engagement, and quality control.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience managing construction projects as a Project Manager in the Australian building construction industry.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities with all levels of staff.
  • Experience with Procore, MS Project, and MS Excel is preferred.
  • A proactive and motivated work style, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
