Public Relations and Communications Professional

The External Communications Specialist will play a key role in developing and implementing communication plans that effectively convey Chisholm's message to various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Crafting externally focused communication plans, including narrative, messaging, and content development.
- Developing awards profiles and submissions that capture Chisholm's tone of voice and sector-specific nuances.
- Identifying media stories and angles, managing issues and reputation, and facilitating ongoing positive relationships with local and industry-specific media.
- A relevant degree and experience in external communications, media relations, and storytelling, or lesser formal qualifications with substantial expertise.
- Demonstrable experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating communication plans.
- Highly skilled in narrative-led storytelling within complex environments, with exceptional written, verbal, and digital communication skills.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing media strategy, with a strong sense of news judgement and editorial quality.
- Able to follow Chisholm's brand, tone, and writing guidelines, with good understanding of data analysis and reporting methodologies.
- A high level of enthusiasm, flexibility, self-motivation, and initiative, coupled with strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach.
