About The Role
We're seeking a Communications Officer to support our Transformation Program 2024/25. In this role, you'll develop and deliver communication plans to enhance awareness and engagement with key stakeholders around ongoing transformation initiatives. Working closely with internal teams, you'll play a central role in crafting clear and impactful messaging for initiatives under the Operations Modernisation Program and the broader enterprise change framework. This is a fantastic opportunity for a communications professional looking to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic, service-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design, develop, and implement communication plans for transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  2. Draft and create key communication materials, including messages, case studies, infographics, and PowerPoint presentations.
  3. Collaborate with the Operations Change Program and other internal stakeholders to ensure clarity and consistency across communications.
  4. Develop content for internal channels, such as intranet pages and newsletters, to engage staff and reinforce the transformation vision.
  5. Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess communication effectiveness, gather feedback, and compile lessons learned.

Desirables

  1. Strong technical proficiency with Microsoft 365 platforms, especially SharePoint.
  2. Ability to translate complex information into clear, concise messages.
  3. Proven experience in change communication, ideally within public or government sectors.
  4. Highly organized with strong multitasking abilities.
  5. Skilled in visual content creation and case study development.

Qualifications/Certifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  2. Prior experience in a similar communications role is preferred.
  3. Advanced writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
