The Department of Treasury and Finance is a key economic advisor to the Victorian Government.

About the Role

This role involves overseeing industrial relations matters within the Victorian public sector, as well as ventures with significant government investment.

Maintaining relationships across the Victorian Government and with external stakeholders—such as unions, industry associations, and senior officers in other jurisdictions—is crucial to your success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice on industrial relations issues to senior executives and/or government.
  • Lead the development and implementation of policy frameworks within complex contexts.
  • Build constructive relationships with Government and external stakeholders.
  • Lead enterprise bargaining and dispute resolution with senior stakeholders.
Requirements

Tertiary qualifications in industrial relations, law, or Business are highly desirable.
