Job Title: Field Service Engineer

This is an exciting new opportunity to join the Philips teams as a Field Service Engineer on the Deployable Health Capability (DHC) program.

About the Role:

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for performing maintenance activities, conducting inspections, and providing engineering support to our customer. You will work at the Deployable Health Capability Support Centre in Bundamba and will be required to travel to various Defence establishments within Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Executing technical service to requests, problems, or planned service activities.
  • Accurately documenting service records, including diagnostics, resolution, and test procedures.
  • Actively involved in customer escalations, complaints, or feedback, following agreed processes to ensure accurate information capture and managing associated action plans to completion.
  • Maintaining a high level of knowledge through continual training and development and keeping up to date with new technologies relevant to your area of focus.
  • Assisting with various logistical, operational, and order processing tasks, as well as timely processing of customer purchase orders.

Requirements:

  • A degree-level education or equivalent experience in Biomedical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or experience as an Engineer in the Australian Defence Force.
  • Experience in customer-facing service engineering background within the medical equipment industry would be ideal.
  • Proficiency in using order management and logistics software, and knowledge of supply chain processes and delivery schedules is highly advantageous.
  • A full AU driver's license and Australian citizenship are required.
