About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Executive Chef to join our established and growing team. As a key member of the kitchen team, you will be responsible for menu preparation, budgets, stock management, and ordering of supplies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Involvement in menu development, cost control, and inventory management.
  • Supervising kitchen staff and ensuring adherence to health, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Maintaining and adjusting cooking equipment temperatures.
  • Measuring ingredients for food preparation and training kitchen staff.
  • Operating large-volume cooking equipment and ensuring food quality and quantity meet requirements.
  • Cleaning, stocking, and restocking workstations.
  • Ensuring food safety standards are met at all times.
  • Checking the freshness of food and ingredients.
  • Developing recipes and determining food presentation.

Requirements

  • Minimum Trade-level Qualification in Commercial Cookery.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.

What We Offer

A competitive base salary of $75,000 plus superannuation, and the opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing team in the food industry.
