About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a passion for food and a conferencing background to join our team. As a Demi Chef, you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the kitchen department, ensuring high-quality food standards, and maintaining a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Kitchen Leadership team in ensuring food standards, preparation, and presentation meet hotel guidelines.
  • Interact frequently with suppliers to maintain high-quality food products.
  • Ensure the highest possible standard of hygiene is practiced and maintained to meet Health & Safety regulations and HACCP food preparation guidelines.
  • Promote a positive work environment where learning and personal development are benchmarks for quality improvement.
  • Work across our conferencing department, buffet, and a la carte breakfast and room service.
  • Coordinate the stewarding team to meet the kitchen's requirements.
Requirements:
  • Commercial kitchen experience.
  • Experience managing multiple sections.
  • Able to work autonomously.
  • Experience with Conference & Events.
  • Hotel experience desirable.
  • Strong enthusiasm and passion for creating high-quality food.
