Claims Portfolio Manager

Job Summary
Suncorp Group seeks a professional to manage a portfolio of claims in the Workers Compensation Claims team.
This is a permanent, full-time role based in Newcastle with a hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of Personal Injury Claims for Small, Medium, and Large employers in NSW.
- Accurately review and assess claims on behalf of icare to ensure injured workers receive their correct entitlements.
- Communicate clearly and concisely with all stakeholders.
- Manage workflow to ensure all activities are completed within applicable timeframes.
- Collaborate proactively with internal support and external stakeholders for proactive case management.
- Provide excellent customer service to the legislative authority, employers, and injured workers through compliance with legislation, timely response times, and efficiency in processing.
Requirements
- Strong team player with a proven track record of providing excellent customer service.
- Exceptional listening and communication skills in a high-volume work environment.
- Strong analytical or Quality Assurance focus.
- Ability to demonstrate compassion and empathy for the customer.
- Proven ability to build rapport with customers and key partners.
- Ability to interpret complex information and respond by developing appropriate actions.
- High standard of written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience managing Workers Compensation or Personal Injury claims is highly regarded.
- Allied Health experience is highly regarded.
