Job Summary


Suncorp Group seeks a professional to manage a portfolio of claims in the Workers Compensation Claims team.


This is a permanent, full-time role based in Newcastle with a hybrid work environment.


Key Responsibilities



  • Manage a portfolio of Personal Injury Claims for Small, Medium, and Large employers in NSW.
  • Accurately review and assess claims on behalf of icare to ensure injured workers receive their correct entitlements.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely with all stakeholders.
  • Manage workflow to ensure all activities are completed within applicable timeframes.
  • Collaborate proactively with internal support and external stakeholders for proactive case management.
  • Provide excellent customer service to the legislative authority, employers, and injured workers through compliance with legislation, timely response times, and efficiency in processing.

Requirements



  • Strong team player with a proven track record of providing excellent customer service.
  • Exceptional listening and communication skills in a high-volume work environment.
  • Strong analytical or Quality Assurance focus.
  • Ability to demonstrate compassion and empathy for the customer.
  • Proven ability to build rapport with customers and key partners.
  • Ability to interpret complex information and respond by developing appropriate actions.
  • High standard of written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience managing Workers Compensation or Personal Injury claims is highly regarded.
  • Allied Health experience is highly regarded.
