Insurance Claims Manager

Role Overview: As an Insurance Claims Manager, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive fair and timely compensation for their claims. You'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of life insurance claims, adhering to regulatory requirements, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively manage a portfolio of life insurance claims in accordance with TAL's claims philosophy and procedures
- Ensure all interactions with customers, advisers, and internal stakeholders adhere to TAL's Customer Service Culture
- Contribute to department and company projects as required
- Gather and interpret relevant information to form an appropriate claims strategy
- Determine correct benefit entitlement and ensure legitimate claims are paid in a timely manner
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar claims management role in the Financial Services or Insurance Industry
- Ability to build rapport and empathy with customers during difficult times and provide proactive, high-quality customer service
- Advanced time management and prioritisation skills
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Health, or Allied Health (desirable)
