Senior Enterprise Account Executive, Australian Government

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Enterprise Account Executive to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and adoption with our largest Australian Government enterprise customers.

Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement an effective territory strategy to drive expansion opportunities across our portfolio of solutions and services. This will involve building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers, understanding their needs, and uncovering additional value we can add to their organisation.

You will work closely with colleagues in our internal Channel team, as well as our network of external Partners, to build and execute on effective sales strategies for your designated territory of named Accounts.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of State procurement vehicles, compliance requirements, and agency buying cycles, and will be able to leverage this knowledge to drive sales growth and revenue.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement Territory and named Account plans geared at maximising expansion opportunities
  • Maintain full Account ownership while coordinating with various account team stakeholders
  • Work closely with Technical Account Managers to understand technical initiatives and help drive business outcomes for our customers
  • Engage customers through regular 1:1 meetings, executive engagements, roundtables, and participation at larger events
Requirements:
  • 15 or more years of sales experience in a business-to-business SaaS sales environment
  • Experience managing key customer relationships and closing strategic sales opportunities
  • Deep understanding of State procurement vehicles, compliance requirements, and agency buying cycles
  • Extensive experience utilising a CRM to achieve and correlate key performance metrics
