Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Sales and Marketing to join our team at Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort and Elysia Wellness Retreat.

This is a unique opportunity to lead the sales and marketing efforts for our two properties, driving revenue growth and enhancing brand visibility in the Hunter Valley region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, leading a team of sales professionals, and collaborating with senior stakeholders to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans and forecasts in collaboration with the Revenue department
  • Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and enhance customer experience
  • Collaborate with the Marketing department to create and implement brand and marketing initiatives
  • Assess sales performance and market potential of individual properties
  • Manage operating budgets for sales activities and ensure alignment with strategic goals and financial constraints
  • Represent Minor Hotels brands at trade shows and association meetings
  • Build and sustain relationships with key industry stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in senior sales management with a proven track record of success
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Strong financial acumen and knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
  • Availability to travel domestically when required
