Sales Director

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales professional to join our team at Stamford Hotels and Resorts. As an Associate Director of Sales, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities from Corporate, C&E, MICE, and leisure market segments.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives
- Maintain relationships with existing clients and stakeholders through efficient account management
- Assist the Director of Sales & Marketing with research, analysis of results, and compilation of monthly reports
- Support the team with customer service and telemarketing new and existing clients when required
- Assist with local area marketing promotions and sales activity at expos, conferences, and conventions as required
- A well-presented, self-motivated Sales professional with strong people and negotiation skills
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and able to meet deadlines and achieve business objectives
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Tertiary qualification in Business or Sales Management is desirable
- Proficient with MS Office products, social media, and general computer skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize work, and manage a variety of projects
- Experience with Sales software systems such as Sales Force Delphi, Opera
- Previous experience working within Sales & Marketing, Events, or a Hotel environment is desirable
