Job Title: Director of Sales and Marketing

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Sales and Marketing to join our team at Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort and Elysia Wellness Retreat. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth and enhance brand visibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans and forecasts in collaboration with the Revenue department
  • Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional guest services
  • Collaborate with the Marketing department to create and implement brand and marketing initiatives
  • Assess sales performance and market potential of individual properties
  • Manage operating budgets for sales activities and ensure alignment with strategic goals and financial constraints
  • Represent Minor Hotels brands at trade shows and association meetings
  • Build and sustain relationships with key industry stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in senior sales management with a proven track record of success
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Strong financial acumen and knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to build professional relationships
  • Superior attention to detail and time management skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Availability to travel domestically when required
