Job Title: Director of Sales and Marketing

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Sales and Marketing to join our team at Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort and Elysia Wellness Retreat. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth and enhance brand visibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional guest services
  • Collaborate with the Revenue department to create and implement comprehensive sales plans and forecasts
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and market presence
  • Assess the overall sales performance and market potential of the individual properties
  • Develop and manage operating budgets for sales activities, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and financial constraints
  • Monitor and evaluate sales performance against targets, taking corrective actions when necessary
  • Provide direction and support to staff through constructive feedback, coaching, and targeted training programs
  • Represent Minor Hotels brands at trade shows and association meetings, showcasing the company's offerings and networking with industry professionals
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders, including clients and partners

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in senior sales management, with a proven track record of success in developing and growing sales strategy
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team
  • Strong financial acumen, with solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Superior attention to detail and time management skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Availability to travel domestically when required
