Director of Sales and Marketing

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Sales and Marketing to join our team at Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort and Elysia Wellness Retreat. This is a unique opportunity to lead our sales and marketing efforts and drive revenue growth for our properties.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth and increase brand visibility.
- Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Collaborate with the Revenue department to create and implement sales plans and forecasts.
- Work closely with the Marketing department to develop and execute marketing initiatives and campaigns.
- Assess sales performance and market potential, and develop strategies to address any deviations and ensure goals are met.
- Manage operating budgets for sales activities, ensuring expenditures align with strategic goals and financial constraints.
- Represent Minor Hotels brands at trade shows and association meetings, showcasing our offerings and networking with industry professionals.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders, including clients and partners, to foster collaboration and business opportunities.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in senior sales management, with a proven track record of success in developing and growing sales strategy.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Strong financial acumen, with solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Superior attention to detail and time management skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Availability to travel domestically when required.
