Exceptional Guest Experience - Lead by Example

Job Description:

As a key member of the Front Office Team, you will be responsible for creating memorable moments for our guests throughout their stay.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and support the Front Office Team to ensure seamless guest interactions and meet expectations.
  • Take charge of hotel operations in the absence of senior management, making key decisions to maintain high standards.
  • Lead by example in attending to guest requests, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and professionalism.
  • Initiate proactive measures to ensure positive and productive interactions with guests, handling complaints and inquiries efficiently.
  • Oversee and coordinate all arrivals and departures, including special guests and VIPs, ensuring smooth execution.
  • Assist with check-in and check-out processes, adhering to established procedures and protocols.
  • Ensure the health and safety of all patrons, guests, and staff members, maintaining a secure environment.
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of full-time experience in a Front Office role, preferably in hospitality management.
  • Tertiary qualification in Hospitality Management or a related field, or adequate work experience to substitute for qualification.
  • Ability to effectively lead and develop teams, fostering a culture of excellence and growth.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to ask insightful questions and listen attentively to gather information.
  • Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills, with a focus on delivering results-oriented performance.
  • High security awareness and a commitment to upholding health and safety standards.
  • Experience working with Fidelio or Opera PMS is highly desirable.
  • Unlimited work rights in Australia and flexibility to work rotating rosters, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
