Job Summary

The Sydney Opera House is seeking a highly skilled Marketing Technology Program Manager to lead the planning and delivery of marketing technology projects. This is a full-time, temporary position for 7 months to cover parental leave.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a marketing technology roadmap aligned with the Opera House's business priorities.
  • Lead a project team to deliver marketing technology projects, ensuring effective coordination of multiple work streams.
  • Leverage the Opera House's project and change management frameworks to mitigate risks to the projects.
  • Embodies the organisation's values, uniting the project teams and program stakeholders into one team, striving for the best.

Requirements

  • At least eight years' experience as a technical specialist or technical project manager, working with marketing technology, databases, customer data, and web services.
  • At least five years' experience overseeing the strategy or architecture for customer-facing technology in a business of similar size and complexity.
  • Demonstrated experience working with a wide range of marketing technologies, including systems for web content management, CRM, DAM, marketing automation, ticketing, and business intelligence.
  • Demonstrated experience collecting and translating business requirements and objectives into technical specifications, and then implementing systems to meet those specifications.
  • Demonstrated experience in at least one of the following: user experience design, user interface design, customer experience, or design thinking.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience working with senior leaders and vendors.
  • Advanced communication skills, including an ability to translate technical concepts for a lay audience.
  • Experience making technical decisions from a whole-of-business perspective.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and prioritise work.
  • Flexibility and a commitment to continuous improvement.
