Clinical Leader in Adult Speech Pathology

This role offers a unique chance to provide clinical leadership and expertise in the management of patients with communicative and swallowing disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality services and lead the Speech Pathology department across rehabilitation and GEM wards at the campus.
- Assess and manage patients based on up-to-date knowledge of professional standards and best practices.
- Ensure that speech pathology services are evidence-based.
- Mentor and support Speech Pathologists within the team.
- Bachelor of Applied Science or equivalent qualification in Speech Pathology.
- Eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia and knowledge of its position papers and Code of Ethics.
- Current National criminal history check or willingness to obtain.
- At least 7 years' experience in adult Speech Pathology.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including communication and negotiation.
- Able to work within a multidisciplinary team and build relationships with stakeholders.
