Clinical Speech Pathology Lead

About this Role
This position involves high-quality clinical expertise in subacute speech pathology management of patients with communicative-communicative and swallowing disorders.
The successful candidate will provide leadership within the Speech Pathology department, supporting and mentoring Grade 2 and Grade 1 Speech Pathologists.
Key responsibilities include assessment and management of patients in accordance with up-to-date knowledge of clinical policies and currently accepted professional standards of practice.
Your Contribution
- Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology), or Bachelor of Speech Pathology or equivalent qualification
- Membership of Speech Pathology Australia and knowledge of current position papers and Code of Ethics
- Current National criminal history check, or willingness to obtain
- At least 7 years' experience in adult Speech Pathology with strong interpersonal skills incorporating excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team, identify and build relationships with key stakeholders
