We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Account Executive to join our team at Sumo Logic. As an Account Executive, you will play a critical role in reinforcing our leadership in the mid-market space.
Job DescriptionAs an Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing and selling to a defined geographic territory. Your primary goal will be to fill Sumo Logic's pipeline through effective prospecting, product demos, and partnership with internal resources.
You will own the full sales cycle, from initial contact to close, ensuring accurate sales forecasts and delivering exceptional results against your quota.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of quota-carrying experience selling B2B applications, specifically on-demand/SaaS, IT Infrastructure Management, or Cloud Security offerings.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Proven track record of quota over-achievement while selling to technical audiences like IT operations, Security, and DevOps teams
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset
- Contact network within the Big Data ecosystem (highly preferred)
- Salesforce.com power user
