We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to join our team as a Mid-Market Territory Sales Representative. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our presence in the mid-market space.

Our ideal candidate possesses 3+ years of quota-carrying experience selling B2B applications, with a proven track record of success in selling to technical audiences. You should have a strong understanding of IT infrastructure management, cloud security, and big data ecosystems. A collaborative mindset, excellent interpersonal skills, and proficiency in Salesforce.com are essential for this role.

As a Technical Account Manager for Mid-Markets, you will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to close, to fill Sumo Logic's pipeline. You will target, manage, and sell to a defined geographic territory, creating and delivering accurate sales forecasts along the way. Additionally, you will partner with internal resources to provide a stellar experience for prospective customers and ensure their needs are being met.

Your experience and skills should include:

  • A history of quota over-achievement selling to technical audiences like IT operations, Security, and DevOps teams
  • Contact network within the Big Data ecosystem, highly preferred
  • Salesforce.com power user
