We are seeking a motivated and driven Business Development Manager to join our clients Melbourne City office playing a pivotal role in expanding their Mid-Market client base.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in business development or sales, ideally within the insurance industry. They will possess a strong understanding of commercial insurance products and services, excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders.

The salary for this role is $90,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience. Key responsibilities include:

  • Proactively identifying and targeting new business opportunities within the Mid-Market sector
  • Building and maintaining strong, lasting relationships with key decision-makers
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction
  • Presentation of complex insurance solutions clearly to clients, ensuring their understanding and trust
  • Meeting or exceeding sales targets and contributing to overall business growth
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activity to ensure a competitive edge
  • Attending networking events, conferences, and industry functions to expand PSC's market presence

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. A demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets is highly regarded, as well as a solid network of industry contacts.
