About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and professional Guest Service Agent to join our dynamic Front Office team at Kingfisher Bay Resort on beautiful K'gari (Fraser Island). The Guest Service Agent is primarily responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Check-in and Check-out Process: Greet all incoming and outgoing guests to the resort, accurately allocate rooms, and welcome guests in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Room Management: Direct guests to rooms on arrivals, be familiar with room rates and reservation information, and maintain guest accounts, billing arrangements, and payments on check out.
  • Communication and Customer Service: Manage phone calls in a timely and professional manner, take guest messages, and ensure prompt delivery to room. Assist guests with all general enquiries and provide accurate and information to guests.
  • Cash Handling and Security: Count float prior to shift, count and balance float during the day, and cash up at end of shift. Follow in-house policies and procedures to maintain guest security.
  • Teamwork and Adaptability: Demonstrate people management skills, an understanding of cultural diversity within the workplace, and be familiar with property management systems.
Requirements

  • High Level of Customer Service and Work Ethic
  • Demonstrated Experience in a Similar Role in a Large Hotel or Resort-Based Environment
  • Demonstrated Experience in Daily Cashiering Procedures, Credit Card Reconciliation
