Position Summary:

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and establishing new client relationships. Your focus will be on engaging with potential customers, facilitating the transition of existing clients to our advanced software solutions, and ensuring their ongoing satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve set sales targets for new business within the rental software market.
  • Oversee all commercial aspects of new business initiatives, particularly targeting small to medium enterprises.
  • Utilize CRM systems to report on sales activities and forecast opportunities.
  • Conduct tailored software demonstrations, assessing client needs and showcasing the value of our solutions.
  • Identify and engage Office Edition users for migration to our OnRent platform.
  • Facilitate comprehensive solution discussions with clients, ranging from operational staff to executive leadership.
  • Ensure seamless handover of client requirements to the professional services team.
  • Represent the company at industry events to promote our innovative products.

OnRent Specific Responsibilities:

  • Manage and nurture relationships with trial users of OnRent, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads and customer interactions within our database.
  • Re-engage with previous trial users to generate new business opportunities.
  • Provide exceptional aftersales support to enhance customer retention.
  • Gather feedback from former clients to inform product improvements.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven track record in software sales and business development.
  • Strong understanding of technical applications and solutions.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to lead generation.
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating resilience and adaptability.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with ERP systems and business IT solutions.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the products and services offered by KCS.
