Databricks is at the forefront of the data and AI landscape, with a mission to empower businesses to solve complex problems.

We seek an experienced sales leader to manage and expand our Sydney-based Business Development and Growth teams, driving growth across the ANZ region.

This strategic role involves leading recruiting efforts, pipeline generation and consumption growth strategies, as well as coaching and developing Business Development and Growth Sales team members.

The ideal candidate will have experience in driving pipeline growth, managing sales development teams, and collaborating with sales and marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage your leadership skills to build and scale an exceptional team
  • Support and shape pipeline generation strategies within the ANZ region
  • Develop innovative approaches to accelerate new customer acquisition and consumption growth
  • Lead your team in achieving pipeline targets and provide coaching to ensure success
  • Collaborate with cross-functional regional leaders to maximize team contributions
  • Analyze team performance and funnel data to identify and address inefficiencies

Requirements:

  • A minimum 2 years of experience as a Sales Development manager with a proven track record of overachievement against quota
  • Experience in a quota-carrying, end-to-end sales role with consistent overachievement against quota
  • Experience in growing a sales development team by recruiting and developing BDRs and ISRs, focusing on providing training and support for success
  • Proficiency in using Salesforce and Outreach.io, with additional experience in other sales tools advantageous
  • Experience in sales processes focused on value selling, prospecting, and opportunity qualification
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for cloud, big data, and AI

Salary Estimate: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, commensurate with experience
