Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team as a Staffing Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling nursing department staff, ensuring accurate scheduling, and managing the Voluntary OT Calendar.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling of nursing department staff, including completing and ensuring the accuracy of 28-day schedules and daily schedules.
  • Posting and filling schedule holes, as well as scheduling/assigning staff for patient appointments and transports.
  • Managing the Voluntary OT Calendar and generating reports as needed.
  • Conducting audits, such as OT audits, and updating lists, including staffing rosters, phone numbers, and involuntary overtime.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure and registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse in New York State.
  • One year of permanent competitive or §55 b/c service as a Licensed Practical Nurse, or equivalent experience in a title approved for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
