About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Program Coordinator to join our team at the Bureau of Statewide Clinical Programs (BSCP) in the Division of Statewide Services. As a Program Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in analyzing data to inform policy, service utilization, and management decisions related to Article 16 Clinics and Independent Practitioner Services for Individuals with Developmental Disabilities (IPSIDD).

You will work closely with other OPWDD divisions/bureaus, voluntary providers, and independent practitioners to develop and implement policies and procedures that ensure consistency in practice statewide.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring and analyzing available/provided data to inform policy and management decisions
  • Providing technical assistance, guidance, and training on Article 16 Clinics, IPSIDD, and clinical organizations across the state
  • Assisting in the development or modification of policies and procedures to ensure consistency in practice statewide
  • Communicating with voluntary providers, OPWDD DDSOO/DDRO staff, OPWDD Director of Nursing and Chief Psychologist to resolve clinical inquiries

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree and three years of professional program evaluation experience in a human services setting, or one year of permanent competitive service as a Mental Hygiene Program Evaluation Specialist 2
  • Qualifying program evaluation experience includes determining or assisting in the determination of appropriate performance indicators, reviewing organizational performance, leading root cause analysis, designing outcome measurement instruments, collecting and analyzing data, and presenting results in reports
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
