Senior Manager Child Family

This is a newly created senior management role that reports directly to the General Manager of Operations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in social work, community services, psychology or a related field, and proven experience in clinical governance.
The role involves strategic planning, operational management, stakeholder engagement, and staff leadership. You will oversee and lead a diverse portfolio of child, family, and community services, managing and developing programs to ensure high-quality service delivery and alignment with the organization's mission and strategic objectives.
As a Senior Manager Child Family, you will have the opportunity to drive significant change in organizational policies, programs, and outcomes, making a real difference in people's lives.
The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to influence and advise across various levels of the organization. They will also have experience dealing with remote services and be an Australian citizen or have unlimited work rights within Australia.
The role offers excellent remuneration, including $155k including super, NFP salary packaging, leave loading, and 6 weeks annual leave. If you are relocating to Darwin, you will also receive a $3000 relocation package and 2 weeks in a hotel.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reporting directly to the General Manager of Operations
- Leading a diverse portfolio of child, family, and community services
- Strategic engagement and project management
- Providing guidance on policy matters and contributing to policy refinement and procedural enhancement
- Influencing and advising across various levels of the organization
- Spearheading the adoption of innovative practices to enhance organizational efficiency
- Overseeing major initiatives and managing resources, budgets, and stakeholders to achieve strategic goals
Key requirements include:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in social work, community services, psychology, or a related field
- Experience dealing with remote services
- Australian citizenship or unlimited work rights within Australia
- Current Ochre Card or ability to obtain and Driver's Licence
