Senior Child and Family Wellbeing Practitioner

TeamHEALTH is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Child and Family Wellbeing Practitioner to join our team in the Katherine region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality support services to children, young people, and families, with a focus on early intervention, risk assessment, and relapse prevention.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement culturally sensitive and strength-based approaches to support children, young people, and families.
- Conduct risk and needs assessments, and implement action plans to address complex issues.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including participants, community members, and other services.
- Lead, coach, and develop staff to ensure they perform and reach their full potential.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work, Counselling, Psychology, or a related field.
- Demonstrated cultural competency in working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, young people, and families.
- Experience in delivering early intervention, risk assessment, and relapse prevention approaches.
- Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with key stakeholders.
- Ability to lead, coach, and develop staff.
