Senior Manager Child Family

This is a newly created senior management role that reports directly to the General Manager of Operations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in social work, community services, psychology or a related field, and proven experience in clinical governance.
The role involves strategic planning, operational management, stakeholder engagement, and staff leadership. You will oversee and lead a diverse portfolio of child, family, and community services, ensuring high-quality service delivery and alignment with the organization's mission and strategic objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reporting directly to the General Manager of Operations
- Leading a team of Program Managers, Regional Managers, and Team Leaders
- Strategic engagement, including the inception, design, and execution of extensive projects or programs
- Providing guidance on policy matters, offering financial, technical, and administrative insights both internally and externally
- Influencing and advising across various levels of the organization, including executives and committees
- Spearheading the adoption of innovative practices to enhance organizational efficiency
- Leading the formulation, execution, and evaluation of projects and programs, identifying opportunities and devising strategies for desired outcomes
- Overseeing major initiatives, managing resources, budgets, and stakeholders to achieve strategic goals
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in social work, community services, psychology, or a related field
- Experience dealing with remote services
- Australian citizenship or unlimited work rights within Australia
- A current Ochre Card or ability to obtain and a Driver's Licence
This role offers a unique opportunity to drive significant change, support the most vulnerable people, and make a difference. The remuneration package includes $155k including super, NFP salary packaging, leave loading, and 6 weeks annual leave. If relocating to Darwin, a $3000 relocation package and 2 weeks in a hotel are also available.
