We are seeking a highly skilled Governance, Risk & Compliance Professional to join our team at Holcim. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing critical functions across our business.

This is an exciting opportunity to ensure the successful implementation and maintenance of a robust Governance, Risk & Compliance framework. You will develop and enforce effective policies, procedures, and controls to mitigate risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and enhance business processes.

As a Governance, Risk & Compliance Professional, you will be instrumental in shaping a GR&C function that is not only effective but also well understood and embraced throughout the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Segregation of Duties (SoD): Develop and maintain the SoD program, monitor risks, conduct audits, and manage ERP access requests. Lead the GRC project to streamline access reviews.
  • Compliance: Create and maintain a compliance program, monitor risks, conduct audits, and support training. Update compliance content and document issues.
  • Policy Framework: Develop and review policies, ensure alignment with Group directives, and manage the approval process for policy changes.
  • Enterprise Risk Management: Implement ERM methodology, manage risk plans, facilitate risk assessments, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Business Process Improvement: Support process optimization, develop risk management steps, and monitor outcomes of improvement initiatives.
About You
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce (Accounting) or Commerce & Law
  • Relevant accounting or law qualification
  • Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) is a plus
  • At least 7 years of experience in internal or external audit, or compliance in a multinational company or law firm
  • Proven experience in governance, risk, and compliance, including investigations
  • Strong knowledge of business, accounting, and control practices
  • Excellent relationship-building, investigation, and problem-solving skills
  • Superior written and oral communication abilities
  • Understanding of business processes and ERP application controls (preferably SAP)
  • Proficiency in Google and Microsoft applications

This is a contract position for approximately seven months. We offer a competitive remuneration package and a dynamic work environment.
