Operational Risk Governance Specialist

Purpose of the RoleThe Operational Risk Analyst will provide critical support to the Risk Manager in delivering and tracking the Risk & Governance components of the Motor Network. This role will also assist operational leaders in focusing on delivery and management of business and execution as required.
Key Responsibilities- Support the development and implementation of the Motor Claims strategic plan, ensuring compliance with relevant legislative and regulatory requirements, including industry codes.
- Embed suitable risk governance practices, executing best practices to maintain a strong risk management framework.
- Maintain strong engagement across all levels of the leadership team, from frontline leaders to the executive team.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and drive improved execution and risk management across the business.
- Operational Risk experience is essential.
- Excellent knowledge of Risk Governance structures and regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability to support teams through transformational change and excellent relationship-building skills to engage stakeholders.
- Experience in strategic planning, facilitation, liaison, time management, and team organization with advanced reporting and analysis skills.
- Strong communication skills, along with proven negotiation skills.
