Front Desk Manager

About This Role:

The Front Desk Manager will be responsible for overseeing the front office and reception team. They will ensure every guest has an unforgettable experience, foster team unity, and provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the front desk and reception team.
  • Ensure all guests receive a warm welcome and assist with their stay.
  • Work with the General Manager to optimize revenue opportunities and decrease expenses.
  • Oversee reservations, groups, functions, and event bookings.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain accurate guest accounts and adhere to confidentiality policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in front desk management supervising a team.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Highly effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with property management systems (preferred but not essential).
  • Proven ability to multi-task and thrive under pressure, supported by strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Candidate must be capable of embracing a flexible schedule, including weekends and public holidays.
