Rail Infrastructure Specialist

Job Summary
UGL Regional Linx is seeking a skilled Track Maintainer to join our Routine Maintenance Team based out of Bathurst, NSW. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and integrity of the rail network by sustaining the condition of the track infrastructure.
About the Role
As a Track Maintainer, you will be responsible for completing track inspections as per the Technical Maintenance Plan, managing identified defects, and performing corrective works as designated by the Superintendent. You will work on a 9 day fortnight pattern and will require you to work across the wider NSW region.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct regular track inspections to identify defects and ensure the ongoing safety of the track
• Manage identified defects and complete corrective works as designated by the Superintendent
• Work collaboratively with the Routine Maintenance Team to achieve maintenance objectives
• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the rail network and its technical requirements
• Adhere to UGL's safety policies and procedures, and report any safety concerns or incidents promptly
About You
• You will possess national competencies and previous experience in Track Maintenance
• You will hold a current RIW card, White card, and Class C Driver's licence
• You will have strong communication and time management skills, and be able to work independently to organise and prioritise demands
• You will be able to adapt quickly to new situations and be willing to learn and utilise new skills and knowledge
