Rail Labourer Role OverviewThe successful candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks related to rail-specific duties, including removing and replacing worn and damaged rails, sleepers, and switches. You will also be required to spot machinery and mobile plant, use powered hand tools and equipment, and maintain site cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities:- Performing rail-specific duties such as removing and replacing rails, sleepers, and switches.
- Spotting machinery and mobile plant to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Using powered hand tools and equipment to complete tasks.
- Maintaining site cleanliness and clearing debris.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work unsupervised.
- Demonstrated experience working in the rail construction industry.
- Holding a valid Construction Induction (White Card) & Rail Industry Worker (RIW) Card.
- A valid Drivers Licence Class 'C' or 'HR'.
- Ability to pass a CAT3 medical, comprehensive functional and Drug & Alcohol Screening.
- Certificate II in Rail Infrastructure required.
$90,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
